Each individual’s identity that is stolen costs a firm on average $200 by the time you put the affected party on notice, provide a year’s worth of credit monitoring, etc. Law firms should confirm with your own carrier about coverage for employees working from home.

VPNs make your internet connection more secure. They can range from free to $10.99 a month, and some include features like 1password (password protection). Google “Top VPN 2020” to reviews and what works for your needs.
If you already have a VPN but are interested in 1password, they have taken the cap off their free trial for the time being to allow people to be more secure working remotely.
